Who we are: Flow Backlog ("we", "us") provides simple backlog & kanban software (the "Service").
1) Acceptance
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it.
2) Beta Program
The Service is in beta. Features may change, break, or be unavailable. You understand the Service is provided "as is" during beta and may not meet all needs.
3) Accounts & Access
Keep credentials confidential and accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account.
4) Acceptable Use
Don't: (a) break the law; (b) attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service; (c) upload malware; (d) infringe IP or privacy; (e) overload or scrape without permission.
5) Your Content
You retain ownership of content you input. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service. You're responsible for necessary rights and lawful use.
6) Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation.
7) Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, auth). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
8) Fees
During beta, the Service may be free or discounted. Any future paid plans will be disclosed before charging. You may cancel at any time; refunds are subject to plan terms.
9) Intellectual Property
We and our licensors own the Service and related IP. No rights are granted except as stated.
10) Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness, and non-infringement.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total liability is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or amounts you paid to us in the 3 months before the claim.
12) Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content or misuse of the Service.
13) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risks to the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; certain sections survive.
14) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, excluding conflicts of law. Courts in Ottawa, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.
15) Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll provide notice (e.g., in-app or email). Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
